How about including a easier to use local-to-remote copy and paste function?

HI Dan!, We will support it soon. Thank you very much!

Just tried the UltraViewer. It is quite good. Please add the file transfer function in future since I really need it.

I agree to pay but TeamViewer is way too expensive. If UV is good and cheaper, I will pay.

Thanks!

The program crash when dropping a file into the chat dialog.
I tried both zip and "not" zip.

you can transfer files via chat box by pressing F1 key. open chatbox , press F1 , select and drag the file you want. then send it... SIMPLE

No, NOT simple. UltraViewer crashes every time I drop a file onto the chat window.

When I send files
drag the file to the chat box and send a message
Partner computer recv message , I click save button and show progress bar
My chat box show 'File Sent', and partner computer progress stop at 80% with 'cancel' button
Stopped 80% every time and never succeeded.
Can someone help me? THX !

To be clear, you can attach files via teh chat window yes? But no drag and drop?

What about copy and paste text? Do you have do that in the same way? I can see a "clipboard sharing" option in the chat which is ticked, but i still don't seem to be able to copy and paste text from my pc to the remote pc.

What am I missing?

Cheers

David

Ultra Viewer 6.1.6 and 6.2.7 crash on my end (not the client's) whenever I try to send a file - WHETHER OR NOT F1 is set on either or both PCs!

Bonjour,
Y aura t il une version OSX de ce programme ? Une connexion LAN direct pour réseau interne ?
Sinon, très bon travail, programme rapide.
Bonne continuation.

Only allows local files not files on a netdrive - saying not valid for filepath...

File transfer: it is possible to send files to remote PC only, and no way to get from remote one (since it is impossible to "Press F1" on remote computer). Is this correct?

Valery Voinob - 1/13/2021 11:31:26 AM

Sorry, I see - it is possible (as attachment).

what if the line disconnected while transferring the file, can we continue transfer after reconnecting? or does it need to resend the whole thing again?

I was recently hacked and ultraviewer downloaded on my pc. I have a few questions about software:
Computer A = hacker
Computer B = my PC

1 - If A looks at a file on B's desktop, example a pdf file, (B is Windows 10), Does the file accessed show up on recent files (under File Explorer) on B's computer?
2 - Can A copy files from B without user of B knowing what files have been accessed or copied?

I need to know if a remote user accessed files on my PC.

Hello Brad. I'm so sorry that you was being hacked by someone that are abuse our software. You can report his ID to abuse@ultraviewer.net so we can collect customer's report and block them from our system.
I hope this answers find you well:
1. It's may works like that, UltraViewer is just a remote desktop software (for remote working, remote support..) so If they remote controlling your PC and access some file recently it can display on recent files under your Explorer.
2. No they cannot copy file from your PC without your knowledge, the only way to send file through UltraViewer now is via chat window.
