Please make sure you're using the latest version of UltraViewer (6.6.89 and above) to use this feature. 

1. Open Notepad:
   • Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
   • Type notepad and press Enter.
      
2. Enter the Following Content:

   Copy and paste the following text into Notepad to create a .reg file that sets the DefaultShowRemoteCursor value to 1.

   Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
   
   [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\UltraViewer]
   "DefaultShowRemoteCursor"=dword:00000001

3. Save the File:
   • Click on File in the top left corner of Notepad.
   • Select Save As.
   • In the Save as type dropdown, select All Files.
   • Name the file enable_show_remote_cursor.reg.
   • Click Save.
      
4. Run the .reg File:
   • Locate the saved enable_show_remote_cursor.reg file.
   • Double-click on the file.
   • If prompted by User Account Control (UAC), click Yes to allow changes to be made to your computer.
   • Click Yes again to confirm that you want to add the information to the registry.
   • Click OK to complete the process.
      

How to Disable Show Remote Cursor by Default in UltraViewer

1. Open Notepad:
   • Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
   • Type notepad and press Enter.
      
2. Enter the Following Content:

   Copy and paste the following text into Notepad to create a .reg file that deletes the DefaultShowRemoteCursor value.

   [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\UltraViewer]
   "DefaultShowRemoteCursor"=-

3. Save the File:
   • Click on File in the top left corner of Notepad.
   • Select Save As.
   • In the Save as type dropdown, select All Files.
   • Name the file disable_show_remote_cursor.reg.
   • Click Save.
      
4. Run the .reg File:
   • Locate the saved disable_show_remote_cursor.reg file.
   • Double-click on the file.
   • If prompted by User Account Control (UAC), click Yes to allow changes to be made to your computer.
   • Click Yes again to confirm that you want to add the information to the registry.
   • Click OK to complete the process.
